How the Weird Gets Made
Welcome to the heart of Crab Clouds—where ideas are messy, sketchbooks are full, and nothing is ever too strange to try.
Here’s how my art goes from “what if…?” to the stickers, prints, and doodles you see in the shop.
The Spark
Ideas, Daydreams, and the Occasional Midnight Epiphany
Sometimes it starts with a doodle in the margins, sometimes with a random question (What if fish wore socks? Why are baby clowns so cute and unsettling?).
My process is about following the weird, letting curiosity take the lead, and not worrying about the “why” until later.
Sketch, Paint, Repeat
From Scribble to Gouache
I work mostly with sketchbooks, gouache paints, and a lot of trial and error. I test out ideas, mix colors, and layer details until something just feels right.
The best pieces are the ones I make for fun—when I forget about being “perfect” and just enjoy the process
Digital Magic
Turning Art into Stickers, Prints, and Colorful Chaos
Once a piece is finished, I scan or photograph it, tweak it digitally for color and clarity, and prep it for printing or stickers. Some art becomes digital-only coloring pages; others become physical products, signed and packed by me.
Packing & Sending Joy
From My Desk to Your Door
I pack each order by hand—sometimes with a doodle or little surprise tucked inside. Sending my art out into the world is the best part. Whether you’re opening a print in your room or coloring a page at your favorite café, I hope it brings you joy!
